Trained at Vidal Sassoon and grounded in the precision of Japanese craftsmanship, Miwako’s approach is defined by exceptional quality, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep sense of calm and care.
At Borderless Hair: A Medium, she offers more than a traditional salon experience. The space is designed as a place to slow down, reconnect, and feel renewed—where personalized hair services and buckwheat-infused spa rituals work together to restore balance and enhance each client’s natural beauty.
Her intention is simple: to help every client feel restored, confident, and beautifully themselves.

Trained in Japan in eyelash extensions and permanent makeup, she later moved to New York to build an international career in the lash industry. After discovering volume lash artistry, she developed a deep focus on structure, precision, and refined technique.
Her work has been recognized at international competitions, leading to roles in education and judging within the global lash community. As the Founder of Lashink Studio, she creates highly customized designs that enhance natural beauty with balance, intention, and longevity—guided by a belief in timeless craftsmanship over trends.

Emily Claire is a Brooklyn-based Davines colourist and educator with 14 years behind the chair.
She specializes in colour correction, balayage, babylights and is known for transforming even the most challenging hair goals into reality. Passionate about both artistry and education, Emily Claire teaches a wide range of classes — from product knowledge to advanced colour theory — and is dedicated to elevating standards within the beauty industry. She aligns with Davines because of their shared commitment to sustainability and ethical beauty practices.

MASAYO joins Borderless Hair as a resident practitioner, bringing her organic and holistic bodywork practice into the Borderless ecosystem.
Rooted in structure, awareness, and natural movement, her method focuses on sacral and core alignment—supporting physical balance, nervous system regulation, and long-term well-being.
Since 2000, she has worked with singers, musicians, dancers, and athletes, offering body maintenance, performance enhancement, and injury care.
She is also a certified gut therapist, integrating digestive health as a foundational element of total body balance.
Together with Borderless, MASAYO’s work expands our philosophy of “hair, body, and nervous system as one connected medium.”
