FOUNDER

Miwako
Urasugi

Born in Japan and now based in New York, Miwako Urasugi brings over two decades of international experience spanning Tokyo, London, and the United States. Her work has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and other leading publications.

Trained at Vidal Sassoon and grounded in the precision of Japanese craftsmanship, Miwako’s approach is defined by exceptional quality, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep sense of calm and care.

At Borderless Hair: A Medium, she offers more than a traditional salon experience. The space is designed as a place to slow down, reconnect, and feel renewed—where personalized hair services and buckwheat-infused spa rituals work together to restore balance and enhance each client’s natural beauty.

Her intention is simple: to help every client feel restored, confident, and beautifully themselves.
